As the weather in Missoula transitions to fall, we say goodbye to some of our outdoor farmers’ markets. The Missoula Farmers’ Market, Missoula People’s Market, and Clark Fork River Market are finished for the season.

It's time to move the markets indoors, and this year there's more options than before for winter markets. The Missoula Valley Winter Market, located inside the Southgate Mall, will kick off at the end of November and run through the end of April.

Looking Ahead: Asian Night Market Coming in Spring 2026

As Missoula’s markets continue to expand, it looks like there’s another market that’s planning on starting in the Spring of 2026. According to an Instagram post from Missoula Moonlight Market, it is currently accepting vendor applications for an Asian Night Market in Missoula. There’s no word yet on where the market will be located or how frequently the market will take place.

Missoula’s markets give locals a chance to have direct relationships with farmers, artists and musicians — and with the wider community.. It’s up to us to support the local community by shopping at our local markets all year round.
