How do you decide what to have for dinner in your house?

In my house, instead of naming specific restaurants, we talk about cuisine. "We had Mexican last night so let's have Chinese," or "I'm in the mood for some German food."

If you're making small talk about food, people often ask, "What's your favorite cuisine?" or "What cuisine do you like to cook?" These are fun questions to ask if you've just moved somewhere new and you're getting to know the area. Sometimes, it will be obvious that everybody loves a particular kind of cuisine because of how many restaurants there are and others that are missing.

We try to put together lists to give you an idea of where to go in and around Missoula if there's a specific kind of food you're in the mood for.
