There is still plenty of time left in the year to do some good. There are a lot of people who have plans to do some good before the end of 2024. SWNS Digital, using a survey from Talker Research found that over 40% of Americans plan on giving back before the end of the year. This news comes just before "Giving Tuesday", which falls on Tuesday December 2nd.
It's good news to see that so many people want to help their communities. Next week there is another event that will give people an opportunity to help our community. Our annual 'KYSSMAS for Kids 2024' charity event will be happening on Friday, December 6th. This is an all-day event filled with on-air and online auctions, stories, and maybe even a tuba or two.

This is a chance to help local children get a Christmas present or two that they get to pick out themselves. We have spoken to multiple agencies in Western Montana, including food banks, and they have all said similar things: the need for help is high again this year, and it doesn't look like it is going to be slowing down anytime soon.
Please help out if you can. Tune in to 94.9 KYSS FM next Friday for the event. Keep in mind if you do, to have some tissues handy, because you may hear a story or two that may bring a tear to your eyes.
