January in Montana normally means lots of snow and frigid temperatures. As cabin fever sets in for many, the thought of getting out and camping in some of the most amazing places around the state helps us get through these long winters.

According to Love Exploring, the best campsite in Montana may not come as a surprise. They chose Apgar Campground in Glacier National Park as the top spot in the state.

I haven’t had the chance to camp in Glacier yet. Every time we try to reserve a site, it’s already full. Maybe someday it will happen, but until then, we’ll settle for some of our favorite spots. I won’t share where they are — at least not until after we’ve made our reservations for the year.
