This kind of content is the good stuff. It's just good, clean, family, wholesome content.

Football brings out the crazy in fans. That wasn't an accusatory statement, by the way. I am one of those crazy fans that put too much of my life's concerns in my favorite football teams. I love a good trash-talking session with your rival's fans as much as the next guy or gal. But every once in a while I enjoy reading friendly content between two fan bases, and that's what we got right here!

After Montana's 46-35 rollercoaster over the 24th-ranked Western Carolina Catamounts last Saturday, some WCU fans praised the Griz gameday atmosphere and Griz fans themselves. Montana Grizzlies Football Fans' Facebook page compiled a post of some very sweet things Catamount fans said about us. It makes you proud to be a Griz fan.

We were LOUD... and NICE. I'm very proud of all you crazy Montanans. Here's what the Catamount fans said of y'all.

This was the loudest football game I've ever seen outside of a serious SEC contest.

That was the LOUDEST game I have ever been to. And I mean on EVERY WCU offensive play.

I will say that I've been to many football games at different locations. This Montana stadium was the biggest home field advantage that I have ever seen. The 25,000+ crowd never let up. They were into the game from beginning to end. No place I've been to comes close to this one.

The crowd noise was so loud that I'm surprised at the lowe # of false starts that we were called on.

The fans before and after the game were the most welcoming of any place I have ever visited. Thank you to them.

I wish I could cite who said what quote but they all belong to the generic "Western Carolina Football Fans." Either way, thanks to the WCU fans for all the compliments. Good luck moving forward.
