How About Some Love For Our Local Fast Food Places?
There is a Missoula buzz about new fast-food places popping up, especially Chick-fil-A. Let's not forget about our local quick eats that have been serving up hungry Missoulians for years with amazing food.
The options in Missoula when going out to eat seem almost endless. Whether it's a nice sit-down meal, or you are on the go, you're sure to find something. In the past few years, we have seen a huge influx of new restaurants showing up, and a lot of them are on North Reserve. Now, while new is fun and exciting, let's not forget about our awesome local fast-food places that can be quicker, better, and more convenient. Here are some of my favorites.
Notorious PIG
Montana is a huge fan of good BBQ, and Notorious PIG has been serving up huge portions of St. Louis-style dishes for many years here in the Zoo. Not to mention they make their own sauces. If you are a carnivore craving something that will stick to your ribs, the PIG is your jam.

Hoagieville:
Can you really consider yourself a true Missoulian if you have never had cheese fries from Hoagieville? With three convenient Missoula locations, it's a must for any local.

The Greek Pastry Shop - #1 Gyros
This is another "Missoula must-have". This family has been serving up authentic Greek Gyros and food in Missoula for over 40 years, so you know they are doing something right.

Frugals
This burger joint is sort of a newcomer to the Missoula fast food scene, but it gained popularity almost overnight. The service is fast and friendly and you can't beat the location right off Brooks. They did however have a little setback with a kitchen fire recently but will be back up and running in no time.

Wally & Buck
This is another killer burger joint in Missoula. Their style is a bit more bougie on a bun (and they have beer). Wally is super easily located in downtown Missoula too.

Sushi Palace
You might not incorporate fast food with sushi, but if you're in the Southgate mall, it's a definite go-to. Plus it's a local, family-owned business.

Dobi's Teriyaki
When you think of Stockmans Bar in Missoula you don't necessarily think of great food, but I'm here to tell you, this might be my favorite place to order. The menu is super simple with great ingredients and very filling. If you haven't given them a shot yet, you owe it to yourself. My suggestion is the half chicken half beef extra spicy.

Biga Pizza
Yes, please! They showcase an array of different pizzas, antipasto, sandwiches, and salads. Definitely a Missoula favorite.
