Missoula police arrested two women in the past 24 hours in totally separate cases with strikingly similar charges. The first incident occurred at 12:38 p.m. Wednesday July 11.

"Agents from the U.S. Marshall's office requested assistance from the city police department after they initiated contact with individuals that had outstanding warrants, including a 30-year-old female identified as Beth Goings," said Missoula Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh. "Goings had a no bond warrant and it was subsequently determined that she was in possession of methamphetamine."

Goings has been in and out of the Missoula jail frequently the past years. The actual felony warrant she had out for her arrest was because of an assault with a weapon charge from an incident that occurred on Christmas Day 2016. She was in jail in December of 2017 too, after she was caught in a stolen car with another suspect. She's also been in trouble for stealing items off the shelves at Walmart and for a felony robbery charge in which she was accused of punching a woman in the face and stealing her wallet outside the Oxford Saloon in Missoula. Goings now has a felony drug charge to add to the list for the methamphetamine.

Early Thursday morning, Police made another arrest, at around 2:30 a.m. after someone called in a suspicious male pacing near the railroad tracks and the Bitterroot Trail in Missoula's Franklin to the Fort neighborhood.

Police went to the 2300 block of Earnest Avenue, someone had called in and reported what they though was a suspicious male walking back and forth in that location," Welsh said. "Officers responded and made contact with that male, who said he was waiting for his girlfriend to come and pick him up, which she eventually did, while the officers were present. They then identified her and realized she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest."

The man wasn't arrested, but the female was picked up on an extra-jurisdictional warrant.

"She was identified as 32-year-old Deltadawn Clark and during the course of the arrest it was discovered that she was in the possession of dangerous drugs," Welsh said.

The drug they found on Clark was methamphetamine and this is at least the second time she's been charged with a felony for possessing the same drug. According to the Valley Journal, she was arrested in February of 2016, after reportedly trying to flee with a purse that contained methamphetamine and a meth-pipe during a probation search in Pablo.
