Harry Potter Dance in Missoula This Weekend

Pretty much everybody from my generation onward grew up with Harry Potter, and as a result, there's a whooooole lot of Harry Potter fans out there. Which means I'm guessing this event happening in Missoula on Friday will be pretty packed.

The 2018 Yule Ball is happening at the University Center Ballroom from 8 to 10 on Friday night. Potter fans will know that the Yule Ball is the big dance from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in which all three schools (Hogwarts, Durmstrang, and Beauxbatons) come together to celebrate their participation in the Triwizard Tournament around Christmas time, and they even got popular wizard band The Weird Sisters to play it! (That is all information I knew offhand without having to look up, because I am also a massive geek).

The dance is free and will include Harry Potter-themed refreshments, crafts, a photo booth and more. Sounds like a blast! No word yet if the Weird Sisters are playing, but fingers crossed.
