Western Montana's Jewish community will begin the celebration of Hanukkah tonight at sundown, and they invite you to a couple of fun events happening this week.

Rabbi Berry Nash joined me Monday on the morning show to invite Montanans of all faiths and backgrounds to the lighting of the menorah tonight (December 12) in Hamilton. This will mark the first ever public menorah lighting in the Bitterroot. Join in for the lighting and jelly donuts from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds.

You are also invited to bring your kids for a children's activity this Sunday, December 17th, at the Southgate Mall starting at 3:15 p.m. It will be followed by the lighting of the mall menorah at 5 p.m.

If you need a menorah for personal use, please reach out to Rabbi Berry at his website and he'll get you all set up. Happy Hanukkah!
