Hamilton Bike Safety Class is Friday at Fairgrounds

Bike Walk Bitterroot is sponsoring a "Ride Skillz" bike safety class at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds in Hamilton Friday, June 23.

The class starts at 3 p.m. and registration is $20. League Certified Instructor Melinda Barnes will explain rules of the road, how to avoid crashes, and more. The class is good for beginners and experienced bike riders.

Bike Walk officials said the clinic will include a lecture in the Art Building of the fairgrounds and outside practice of handling skills and avoidance maneuvers.

Then, to top off the class, a ride through Hamilton with practice of the techniques.
