It's always great to hear about a worthy cause that's awarded with a large sum of money, especially because you know that money is going to be used to help people out. That's exactly what's happening here: the Habitat For Humanity Of Missoula just received it's biggest donation ever. One individual has decided to donate $100,000 to the organization.

So who was the person who made the huge donation? We don't know! They preferred to remain anonymous - but the organization said that the donation was unsolicited, and that the person must have been someone who wanted to make a different in Missoula's affordable housing crisis.

And $100,000 will go a long way in helping out Habitat For Humanity of Missoula in their mission to build 30 homes a year by 2030. If you poke around online looking for a place to buy or rent in Missoula, it's pretty tough at the moment - only a few places are available at any given time, and a lot of those are ridiculously expensive. Hopefully this donation can make a difference to create a future where that's not the case.

It's a shame we won't know who donated this generous gift, but obviously they'd rather not have the attention and instead make sure people are aware of what Habitat for Humanity of Missoula is trying to do. If you had $100,000 to give away, what organization would you give it to? Would you want to remain anonymous like this donation was?
