CAROUSEL-2019-2

People were upset a few weeks ago when it was revealed that A Carousel For Missoula had to shut down after a piece of its infrastructure broke, and it wasn't clear how long it would take to fix. At the time, it looked like it would be shut down for the whole summer.

So, good news! The carousel was able to get the part it needed thanks to Andy Troutwine, a local metal fabricator that was able to design a new part to replace the broken one. Which means it can open much earlier than they expected! In fact, it's open right now!

Without Andy's design, the entire support structure of the ride would have had to be disassembled, so it's lucky he was able to help. The ride was up and running on Thursday morning, and hopefully that's the end for its problems this year.
