A fun-filled day for Missoula's pet lovers is coming up Saturday, September 14.

The 14th annual Pet Fest celebrates the wonderful world of pets at the Missoula County Fairgrounds from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The event features horses, goats, dogs and cats for adoption from rescue shelters. There's a dog training demo. And of course it wouldn't be Pet Fest without the Doggie Olympics, Mutt Run and Wiener Dog Dash!

It's also a day filled with family-oriented education, contests and adoption opportunities, along with vendors offering. products and services. There is no admission charge for Pet Fest, but you are encouraged to bring donations of pet food. New, unopened bags and cans of cat and dog food will be shared equally among the participating shelters and rescues.

If you'd like more info on events and opportunities for your pets to participate, you can visit the Pet Fest website or contact Linda Baumann, event coordinator, 406-544-5101.

Party on, pets.
