Foo Fighters Win ‘Best Rock Tour’, Nate Mendel Still Has Nothing to Say

Our former intern Sparkles (real name Kate, you walk through these doors, you get a nickname) attended the Pollstar Live convention in Los Angeles this week and got to see the Foo Fighters accept an award.

We are beyond proud of Sparks for pursuing her dream career in entertainment management. She started as our intern about a decade ago and has had some pretty memorable adventures since. She had the opportunity to see Dave Grohl speak on a panel earlier this week and was in attendance last night when Foo Fighters accepted the award for "Best Rock Tour." The nominees were some pretty stiff competition too.

As you can see in the video below, poor Nate (bass) still has nothing to say. Dave put him on the spot and he's a fairly shy dude anyway, so he didn't get much out. Did you know that Nate Mendel has a slew of relatives who live right here in Missoula? You can also see that Dave is still in a sling due to his bunk wrist, he's gotta get that shit healed up before CalJam 2019.
