Festival of Remembrance Procession & Activities Tonight

The 26th annual Festival of Remembrance, formerly Festival of the Dead, will be held tonight in downtown Missoula.

The procession itself will begin at 7 p.m. at the XXXX's, take a right on Front Street and down to Caras Park for performances. All are welcome to participate in the procession, you can bring photos and/or mementos of your loved ones who have passed and walk in the procession, or just watch.

You'll want to join in for pre-procession activities at the XXXX's starting at 6 p.m. with a Salish prayer and song. There will also be performances and it's fun to show up early to catch up with friends and neighbors.

Please remember to be respectful of your surroundings and city regulations. Rules include: no fire of any kind, no motor vehicles, do not throw candy, flowers or other items.

The Festival of Remembrance procession is a beautiful experience, you don't want to miss it.
