The Descendents Announce 2017 North American Tour
In support of last year's Hypercaffuim Spazzinate, the Descendents are spending a good chunk of 2017 on the road. Today, the long-running and influential Southern California punk rockers announced a series of dates across North America that will run all the way through mid-December.
You can see all the North American dates below, beginning April 6 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, Calif., with a total of 28 more shows spread out over the course of eight months before it ends up at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas on Dec. 16. The lone festival date is When We Were Young in Santa Ana, Calif., on the weekend of April 8-9, an event that will see them sharing the stage with Morrissey, Cage the Elephant and Alkaline Trio.
These are in addition to the Australian tour that starts this week and a few European gigs that they have lined up in June. The opening act(s) have yet to be determined but you can get full ticketing information at their website.
Hypercaffuim Spazzinate, their seventh album, was their first since 2004's Cool to Be You.
