COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 969 New Cases, Two More Deaths

As of Wednesday morning, Montana has confirmed 268,100 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 969 new confirmed cases. There are currently 1,707 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,407,832 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 556,179 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 194,864 doses have been administered and 76,117 people are fully immunized. 66% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 263,202 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 101 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 6,172 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,653,007.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 3,189 on Tuesday to 3,191 on Wednesday, according to state health officials.
