COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 2,978 New Cases, 545 in Missoula

As of Thursday morning, Montana has confirmed 235,967 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 2,978 new confirmed cases. There are currently 18,090 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,374,656 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 547,938 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 189,724 doses have been administered and 75,132 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 214,887 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 314 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 10,918 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,490,418.

The state COVID-19 related death toll remained at 2,990 on Thursday, according to state health officials.
