COVID-19 Update: Montana Adds 1,185 New Cases, Six More Deaths

As of Friday morning, Montana has confirmed 256,630 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 1,185 new confirmed cases. There are currently 8,637 active cases in the state.

According to the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, 1,395,407 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered and 552,383 Montanans are fully immunized.

In Missoula, 192,851 doses have been administered and 75,603 people are fully immunized. 65% of Missoula's eligible population are fully vaccinated, which remains tied for the most in the state. You can find the current case numbers from the Missoula City-County Health Department right here.

According to state statistics, 244,926 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and 269 people are currently hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 6,356 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 2,586,967.

The state COVID-19 related death toll increased from 3,061 on Thursday to 3,067 on Friday, according to state health officials.
