Congrats to the Winner of the Lost Trail Lift Tickets
With the lack of powder, it's been a disappointing season for skiiers, snowboarders, and sledders. However, we do have some good news as we've drawn a winner for the lift tickets we offered up from Lost Trail. Congrats to Nicole Luloff, and thank you to all who texted to enter into the drawing. Keep an eye on your app alerts and if you don't have the Alt app, you might wanna download it. That's how we've been giving away prizes this year due to the pandemic. And honestly, it's easier for everyone, especially listeners who hate talking on the phone.
Lost Trail is open, and they'd like to remind anyone who plans to visit to check out their Covid-19 policy on their website. Face coverings are required in ALL lines, including indoors and outdoors, getting on and off the lift, and all ticket lines. They also insist that you arrive together and ride together. You've learned to stay within your family pod this year, I think you can handle it.
If you've never been to Lost Trail, it's south of Hamilton, so a drive through the Bitterroot, about 80 miles, or an hour and a half from Missoula. It's at 7,000 feet on the border of Montana and Idaho with five double chair lifts and three rope tows. They're open Thursdays through Sundays and all major holidays. So this may be a great socially distanced option to enjoy the outdoors during the Christmas break.
Even with the lack of snowfall in the valleys, it's been snowing up at Lost Trail! In fact, this week they were able to open Chair 4 for the season, as you can see in their video below.
