Had a wonderful young lady by the name of Marta Grimalt Canals on my show this morning to talk about her super 8 road trip film that she has been screening all over the world. It's called Desert In Your Mind and Marta is in town to share the weirdness with Missoula this Saturday, October 13th.

Naturally, I mean "weird" in the best way possible, the film will be part of an art show and fall extravaganza at Free Cycles called "Boohaus: A Haunted Artmare." The first screening will show at 7, it's an hour long and will be on a loop, so come by when you can. It's $5 at the door to help cover costs for VonCommon and Free Cycles.

Beer and wine will be available with ID, but the event is all ages. Come enjoy art installations by Adelaide Gale Every and Rob Rez and a fun party with your friends and neighbors. There will be a costume contest, so come prepared!

Live music by:
The Organism (experimental electronic)
Nate Mays (folk/punk singer/songwriter on tour natemays.bandcamp.com)
Power Plant (free-jazz performance art)
