One of the biggest annual film events in Montana kicks off this weekend, on Saturday, February 16th.

The 16th Big Sky Documentary Film Festival is taking place from February 15th through the 24th. Its opening night film we be screened at 6 PM on Saturday night at the Wilma. It's called Ski Burn: The Warren Miller Story, and details the life of a legendary filmmaker who actively developed and promoted the ski industry throughout America and the world. Admission for this one will be free.

There will be a soft opening on Friday the 15th with a film being screened at the Elks Lodge. For ticket information and the full lineup of films, you can check out their website.
