We're stoked to be teaming up with The Rhino to celebrate Bayern Brewing's 35th Anniversary! Bayern is even marking the occasion with a special 35th-anniversary celebration pilsener lager that will be available at the party.
Bayern Brewing blessed Missoula in 1987, and by now you should know it's "bye-ern" (not bay-ern.) Literally translated, Bayern means the German state of Bavaria, the homeland of Jurgen Knoller, Bayern Brewing’s owner, and Masterbrewer. Jurgen is a beloved Missoula character, we are definitely looking forward to hearing what he has to say on the mic during the celebration.
Enjoy all the things that come with a Caras Park party - local food vendors, live music, exciting games, and fun giveaways with our radio stations, including K.C. and 96.3 The Blaze. Take a walk back in time with photos of where it all began and artwork by Monte Dolack Fine Art. This is also your opportunity to score hats, t-shirts, tank tops, and shades in a limited run of the 35th-anniversary logo wear.
Of course there will be plenty of Bayern beer, wooden barrel tappings, and a full bar catered by The Rhino. We recommend you show up early to get your hands on a limited edition commemorative glass stein, $15 includes one free beer token.
Join us for the biggest party of the summer on Saturday, August 13th, at the new and improved Caras Park starting at 3 p.m. All are invited but don't forget your ID if you plan to drink. Things will wrap up around 9 p.m.
