Born in Iowa, Michael became a Montanan in his early teens when his family moved to the Gallatin Valley. Foth -rhymes with both - started his broadcast career while in high school, working part-time at an AM religious station in Belgrade. Over the years, his work path allowed him opportunities in Salt Lake City, Denver, and southern Minnesota. Michael returned to the airwaves in Billings in 2005 and has been with Townsquare Media, Billings since 2017. Interests: reading (mostly fiction), history, gardening, cooking, fishing, motorcycles, playing blackjack, and hanging out with his family. Favorite foods: smoked meats, steak, seafood, thin-crust pizza. Movies he's watched more than 10 times: Family Vacation, Happy Gilmore, Tommy Boy. Ideal vacation: Any place with a beach, pool, and palm trees. Favorite part of this job: Everyone has a unique story, and Michael loves finding those interesting stories and sharing them with our listeners and readers. Music: A rocker at heart, Michael enjoys all styles of music from classic country to pop. Personal stuff: "#Dad Life" is what it's all about for Michael. Married since 2010, he has three older step-kids and two younger girls who have him completely wrapped around their fingers. Three dogs and a cat round out their household.
