Typically if you end up eating outside in Montana it's a secondary activity to something else - fishing, swimming, hunting, camping, etc. But Montanans of all ages love a good picnic, kids think it's the coolest thing ever to pack a picnic basket and head out to explore nature with no real agenda. And I don't know where you are in the levels of adulthood, but apparently I've reached the picnic basket level as more than one of my dear friends has bragged about purchasing a new one for the season.
