First, our congratulations to University of Montana Grizzly Soccer, putting three incredible performances together to claim a title.

The Griz entered the Big Sky Conference tournament in Ogden, Utah, as the No. 5 seed. First they had to take down No. 4 Northern Arizona. Done, 1-0. Then it was on to the regular-season champs No. 1 Weber State on their home field. Done, 2-0. Finally, it was No. 3 Northern Colorado for the tourney title and the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tourney. Done, 1-0!

Montana drew a familiar opponent when the bracket for the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship was announced late Monday afternoon. The Griz will play Washington State, an at-large selection out of the Pac 12, this Friday night, November 9, at 8:00 Mountain Time, in Pullman, Washington. The Cougars beat Montana 3-1 earlier this season.

The winner advances to play either Central Connecticut State or Georgetown the following Friday. You've made us super proud, gals. Just keep fightin' on! Thanks to Joel Carlson in UM Sports Information for getting us the news this afternoon.
