The Missoula Time Bank is a service exchange that uses time rather than money for services. Members from Arlee to Hamilton and Alberton to Potomac earn time hours and spend them on the services they need.

It's a pretty great deal. Say you need some work on your car. You can bank hours weeding or helping somebody with their yard work to earn the hours you need to exchange for the car work. That's just one example, as Time Bank committee member Loreen Green explained to us when she stopped by the Alt morning show, the possibilities are endless.

If you're interested in learning more and meeting up with some of the Time Bank members, the next quarterly meeting will be at Imagine Nation Brewing on Wednesday, June 20th starting at 5:30. Stop by to learn more about the Time Bank's partnership with MUD as well as win door prizes and enjoy a beer or kombucha.
