UPDATE - August 2, 2017 3:00 p.m.

During a Missoula Justice Court appearance on Wednesday, Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst asked Judge Landee Holloway for $2 million bail for 51 year-old Caressa Jill Hardy.

Hardy said very little during the court appearance other than to refuse to answer any questions, instead allowing the public defender to respond to any questions.

Judge Holloway set bail at $2 million, and ordered Hardy to appear in court again on August 16.

A suspect identified as Caressa Jill Hardy is being held in the Missoula County Jail without bail, charged with two counts of deliberate homicide, although no bodies have been recovered.

Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst lays out the facts of the case.

“Caressa Hardy, also known as Glenn Dibley, was taken into custody by the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, and I have charged that person this morning with two counts of deliberate homicide for the murders of Robert Orozco and Thomas Korjack, which we believe occurred at the end of March in 2013 at their mutual residence in Frenchtown,” said Pabst. “Beginning the investigation by talking to an eyewitness of the fatal shootings, the sheriff’s department spent months and months investigating every detail surrounding the allegations. We believe the motive for the killings was financial. We look forward to presenting the case to a jury.”

Pabst said the maximum penalty for deliberate homicide is 100 years in prison, but that the death penalty is effectively out of the picture after a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision.

Court documents indicate that, according to a woman referred to as 'Witness A', she and the defendant had a romantic relationship and had three children with him. She described the defendant as being like David Koresh as charming and very controlling.

The two victims, Orozco and Korjack, befriended the witness and her children along with the defendant, and eventually they all moved to Frenchtown from Wyoming and purchased a mobile home on Pond Road.

In 2013, after a violent argument, the defendant allegedly shot and killed both men with a handgun, while the female witness begged for her life and the life of her children.

Court records do not indicate whether the bodies of the two men were ever recovered.

The witness explained why she waited so long to report the crimes due to her fear of the defendant, but she said eventually, 'something in my heart just said it was time.'
