"Love My Way," a 1982 hit for the Psychedelic Furs, is back in the public eye thanks to its placement in the acclaimed film Call Me By Your Name. According to a new report, the song recently had its biggest week ever on streaming services.

Billboard notes that, for the week ending Nov. 30, "Love My Way" was streamed 177,000 times (audio and video combined), an increase of nine percent from the previous week. Audio streams made up 131,000 of that total, a bump of 15 percent. Although the movie is currently only playing in four theaters in New York and Los Angeles, the track was featured in the trailer that was released nationwide two months ago. Since then it has steadily risen in streaming totals (882,000 for an eight-week period, 100,000 more than the previous eight weeks).

Based on a novel by Andre Aciman, Call Me by Your Name is set in 1983 Italy and deals with the relationship between a 17-year old, played by Timothee Chalamet, and his father's assistant (Armie Hammer). "Love My Way" is featured in a scene where Chalamet watches Hammer dancing at a party before joining in. Movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes has given Call Me by Your Name a rating of 98 percent, and the film is considered to be a heavy contender come awards season.

Released on Forever Now, "Love My Way" was the first song by the Psychedelic Furs to reach the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 43 in April 1983. Of their singles, only "Pretty in Pink" (No. 41) and "Heartbreak Beat" (No. 26) placed higher on the pop chart.
