LGBT Pride month may be coming to an end, but singer Brendon Urie of Panic! At the Disco is looking to help the LGBT Youth long into the future.

On Friday (June 29), Urie announced he would be partnering with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) to help create Gender & Sexuality/Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) in high schools across the nation. To kick off the new partnership, Urie has pledged $1 million to GLSEN to help launch the initiative, Rolling Stone reports.

"For years my fans have inspired me with their determination and creativity as they have created a safe and inclusive community," the singer said in a statement. "I felt the time had come for me to join them boldly, to bring that energy and power to bear on the huge challenges facing our whole society."

Up next for Urie, Panic! At the Disco will be heading out on tour on July 11. The trek, which is in support of Panic! At the Disco's recently released Pray for the Wicked album, will kick off in Minneapolis before they make stops in Detroit, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles and more.
