The Used Outdoor Gear Sale coming up at the University of Montana is open to everyone, students and non-students alike.

Whether you're planning some camping activities on Flathead Lake like the guy in the picture or buying last-minute camping items for that hunting trip, you'll want to be at the UM Outdoor Program's event on Wednesday, October 10, noon till 5:00 p.m. in the University Center Atrium. And if you're looking to sell, it's a great opportunity for you, too.

UM students and the general public can buy or sell used outdoor equipment, including bikes, boating equipment, climbing and camping gear, clothing and lots more.

Want to sell?  You can drop off your items in the UC Atrium between 7:00 and 11:00 a.m. on October 10. Seller can pick up remaining gear and receive a cash payout for the sold items between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. that evening. The UM Outdoor Program will collect 20 percent of the selling price. Proceeds go toward their new programs and equipment.

And of course everyone is invited to shop the bargains. Volunteers are also needed to to help work the sale, with flexible shifts and preview sale incentives. If you want to sell, volunteer or just want more info, contact Andi Armstrong with UM Campus Recreation at 406-243-2806, or andrea.armstrong@mso.umt.edu.
