The holidays are not easy for anyone, but for some they are nearly impossible to handle. There are hundreds of kids in the Missoula area that may go without a proper Christmas this year. That is why we are so involved with great events like KYSSMAS for Kids. Cabelas has also stepped up to help kids this holiday season. For the second year in a row, Cableas will host the "Shop with a Cop" event at the Missoula store.

According to the official press release

Cabela’s Missoula store, in partnership with the Missoula Police Department, Missoula County Public Schools, Missoula Fresh Market on Brooks, and HIS Food Pantry of Missoula will provide a shopping experience for two select children from each Missoula Public School on Saturday, December 2nd, as well as, providing a Christmas dinner for each of these children’s families. Each child will get to shop with a member of the Missoula Police Department including Chief Mike Brady. Not only that, but the children will get to take pictures with Santa and let him know what they would like for Christmas.

To help support our local law-enforcement, Missoula Fresh Market on Brooks has donated free lunch on December 2nd from 11a-1p and any member of law-enforcement, as well as the children selected with their families, will receive free lunch.

Santa will be available for everyone, including adults, from 11:00am-2:00pm on Saturday, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th. Media is invited to take pictures and video of Santa with customers in this unique setting.
