Watch Liam Gallagher Perform ‘Wall of Glass’ on ‘The Late Late Show’

Liam Gallagher appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden Monday night to perform his track “Wall of Glass.” You can watch it above. It appears on the former Oasis frontman’s debut solo album As You Were, which launched on Oct. 6.

He took the opportunity to settle his differences with host Corden, after having labelled him a “knobhead” earlier this year. “I gotta say he’s a fine chap got that 1 wrong,” Gallagher tweeted. “I’m the first to admit it James Corden was a good man to my boys last night.”

In a separate interview he explained how Beatles icon John Lennon had inspired the As You Were title, which has also become Gallagher’s catchphrase in recent times. “A lot of people say it – I’ve been the one that kind of says it more than anyone else,” he told KROQ-FM. “John Lennon used to wear t-shirts with ‘You Are Here.’ I’ve always liked that. It reminds me of ‘As You Were,’ ‘Be Here Now.’ It’s got that kind of thing. I mean, it doesn’t really mean anything. Everyone’s always trying to find a meaning for something. Sometimes things aren’t meant to mean anything, you know what I mean?”

Gallagher has a series of tour dates booked in the coming weeks, including a short run in the U.S. beginning Nov. 13.

Meanwhile, he had some opinions about his brother and former bandmate Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds new single “Holy Mountain” from upcoming album Who Built the Moon? which arrives next month. Liam tweeted his reaction to hearing the single, saying: “You can stick your triangles up your arse I am the circle” and: “Holy mountain eh where do I start who built the moon where do I end.”
