Each year, the City of Hamilton, with the help of Bitterroot Disposal, provides a drop off for your "formerly festive" Christmas tree. This year, the drop-off dates will be January 19 and 20. A dumpster will be in the North 4th and Pinckney city parking lot, across the street from the U.S. Post Office. Mayor Dominic Farrenkopf said the trees need to be clear of ornaments and any type of tree stand. The trees will be turned into mulch.

There will not be any curbside pickup. You'll need to load the tree in a truck, tie it to your SUV or drag it over to the North 4th Street location. And, if you haven't taken your tree down, yet .... get busy. By the way, this is for Hamilton residents only.
