Free Comic Book Day in Missoula

National Free Comic Book Day is May 5th and will be celebrated locally at Muse Comics & Games.

Free Comic Book Day is a lot like Record Store Day in that the purpose is to encourage people to shop at local, independently owned stores. Muse has been hosting it for many years, and if you haven't been there in a while, their current location is at 2301 South Higgins.

A line typically begins to form about an hour before they open so get there early for choice picks of the freebies. Muse will provide free comics from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. along with some special appearances.

Guests of Honor include Michael Moreci (Wasted Space, Hoax Hunter, Roche Limit, Curse, Burning Fields), Tim Daniel (Enormous, Fissure, Atoll, Spiritus, Curse, Burning Fields), Tony Gregori (Karma Police, Deuce of Hearts, Doctor Crowe, Ancient Noise) and Adrian Wassel (Alien Bounty Hunter). Plus local comic publisher Vault Comics will be onsite displaying new and old projects!

Free comics include material appropriate for kids all the way up to mature content. So don't miss out on the biggest Free Comic Book Day in Western Montana on May 5th.
