Everything You Need To Know About The Missoula Marathon

Every year, thousands of people pack downtown Missoula's streets for the biggest running race in western Montana! With a flat and fast course that takes you through gorgeous countryside, it's no wonder that people come from all over the country to run in this awesome race!

Even though the Missoula Marathon Beer Run is more my speed, it blows my mind how many people show up to run in the marathon, half-marathon and 5K races. And don't forget about all the super studly kids who run the kid's marathon!

So if you're planning on running in the Missoula Marathon, or you just want to show up and cheer on all the racers, here's everything you'll need to know about the race-day activities:

Missoula Marathon Beer Run

• Friday, July 7th, 2017
• FREE Admission
• Starts & Ends @ Caras Park
• Starts @ 6pm

Missoula 5K

• Saturday, July 8th, 2017
• $42 Registration Fee
• Starts @ Higgins (A little north of Higgins St. Bridge) and finishes just below the bridge at the Missoula Marathon Expo
• Starts @ 8am

Kid's Marathon

• Saturday, July 8th, 2017
• $10 Registration Fee
• Starts on the Clark Fork River Trail, in front of Boone and Crockett Club, in downtown Missoula and the finish line for this race is at Caras Park!

Missoula Half Marathon

• Sunday, July 9th, 2017
• Registration Fee
  • Jun 16, 2016 – July 6, 2017 – $117
  • At Race Expo on July 8, 2017 – $127
• Course is flat and USATF certified
• Wheelchair and handcycle divisions are available
• Race starts and finishes in downtown Missoula
• Starts @ 6am
