Alice in Chains has announced a North American headlining tour for 2018. The run will begin in Boston, Mass., on April 28, and run through a May 29 appearance in Philadelphia, Penn.

As previously reported, the band will also headline Rock on the Range on May 18, which will feature Tool and Stone Temple Pilots with their new singer Jeff Gutt as well.

Pre-sales for some dates begins as soon as tomorrow, Dec. 12, at 10AM local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Dec. 15 in most cases. Visit Alice in Chains' website for more details.

Alice in Chains have been in the studio this year, working on their follow-up to 2013's The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. This will be their third record with frontman William DuVall, who replaced Layne Stanley after his death.

"Being in the studio for 20 hours a day isn’t fun, but it’s a great job," bassist Mike Inez said back in January. "We try to make that our clubhouse, and separate it from the business. We’re still in that playing in the sandbox, for this new record anyways, we’re still getting together in the same city, plugging in the same room. Today is actually our first day, and I’m already late, because I’m here talking to you, so it shows you how professional we still are.”
