One of the biggest events of the year in Missoula is coming up really soon. Forestry Day at the Fort is scheduled for Saturday, April 28th from 9am-4pm with all of the fun events that you are used to watching each year.

The events that everyone seems to love include PRO/AM Logging Competition, Antique Sawmill Demonstrations, Antique Logging Equipment, High Wheel Demonstrations, Horse Logging Demonstrations, and lots of information from Hosted Historic Buildings to explore.

The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula are the ones that put on Forestry Day and according to their Facebook Event page there will be something special that you won't want to miss. To pay tribute to the men and women of the woods who have passed on too soon, there will be a memorial tree planting in the Forestry Interpretive Area.

It really is a lot of fun for the entire family so make sure that you put Forestry Day in Missoula on your calendar for April now.
